Shawn Mendes Returns With New Single “In My Blood”

After teasing the track earlier this week, multi-Platinum singer/songwriter Shawn Mendes returns with triumphant new single “In My Blood.” Co-produced by Shawn with Teddy Geiger and co-written by both alongside longtime collaborators Scott Harris and Geoff Warburton, “In My Blood” is an empowering rock anthem about having the will to overcome featuring Shawn’s most vulnerable, honest lyrics to date. The track is the first from Shawn’s highly-anticipated third album via Island Records and will be debuted on The Late Late Show with James Corden next Wednesday, March 28th.

THIRTY SECONDS TO MARS today unveiled the title and track listing along with an ambitious global creative campaign for their highly-anticipated fifth studio album: AMERICA, due April 6 via Interscope Records. Primarily born and raised in a poverty stricken area, Lena grew up with music as her focal point of comfort, with writing as her therapy. She eventually learned to interchange poetry stanzas for rap bars, and found pleasure in both spoken word and cypher rapping. The Cavemen Share New Single “Janey,”

New Zealand punks The Cavemen will release their third full-length album, Nuke Earth, on April 6th via Slovenly Recordings. Like the band’s past releases, it features a mix of rowdy punk and raw, scuzzy garage rock, made up of frantic vocals, screeching guitars, and infectious riffs.

RI indie rock band Umbrella Co. break onto the scene with new EP ‘Initial’

Relocating to a new city and establishing yourself into the local music scene isn’t always the easiest mission – but Providence’s Umbrella Co. have done just that, with the release of their debut EP Initial last month. The three track EP showcases the band’s amazing chemistry and provides a tasty first bite of the their refreshing indie rock sound.

The band originated in late 2015, when singer/songwriter Jon Shimmin and guitarist Harrison McClain connected at a Providence bar. Both recent transplants to the Rhode Island area, they began to write together and performing under the name Umbrella Co. Initial comes as the band’s debut release. “The inspiration for the EP came about from trying to make something out of the mundane events of daily life,” reflected vocalist Jon Shimmin. “Wanting to take something ordinary and creating little vignettes out of them – that maybe makes the subjects a little more spectacular …even it the event itself isn’t necessarily a positive.”
