Sean McMahon drops new video ‘Show Me The Way’

Melbourne singer-songwriter Sean McMahon has unveiled a new video for his single ‘Show Me The Way’. What started out as a series of empty rooms in an abandoned artist’s studio turned into the perfect setting for the clip shot for label Blind Date Records by director Tim McCormack and cinematographer Thom Hayes.

Byron Bay singer-songwriter and one of Australia’s most loved musicians, Pete Murray has today announced a stunning remix of his song Heartbeats, by ARIA-awarding winning Peter Mayes from PNAU. Pete has also dropped a video for the remix, a short film seeking to inspire audiences to cherish the love they share with others while they still can. House of Feelings share a love letter to New York on “Disco Lights”

NYC collective House of Feelings has unveiled their “love letter to the city” in the form of new single “Disco Lights”, premiered today via Stereogum. About the track, writer James Rettig notes “…it’s sultry and swirling, centered around a beckoning voice urging you to come see these disco lights.” This is their first release since their debut Last Chance EP dropped in August, which Pitchfork deemed “euphoric New York house music packed with modern anxieties” and the NY times noted was “full of immaculately hip grooves”. It’s also the first with bandleader Matty Fasano as lead producer.

Pop-Punk Powerhouses Gold Steps Release “Firestarter” Music Video

Chuggy guitar riffs, kick drum blasts and spitfire vocals define Austin pop-punk powerhouse group, Gold Steps. Earlier this month the band, led by energetic firestorm Liz Mauritz (vocals) and rounded out by Zach Duarte (lead guitar), Elias Perez (rhythm guitar), Erasmo “Raz” Garcia (bass), and Roger Steadman (drums), announced their forthcoming EP, Incandescent. Produced by Rick King of King Sound, the EP (out 5/28/18) is a musical representation of emotions experienced in mood cycling episodes. MOON HOOCH Announce New EP ‘LIGHT IT UP’ Due April 6

Moon Hooch have announced the release of a new EP, ‘Light It Up,’ due April 6. Recorded at the bucolic and tranquil Gnomehaus just outside of Burlington, VT during a rare extended break from their perpetual touring schedule, it presents three songs that the band has been perfecting in their live show over an extended period of time. Swedish Experimental songwriter Bonander’s video for new track ‘Smile’ celebrates forgotten Scandinavian women from the 19th & 20th century. The film is directed, filmed and edited by Bonander, with help from Josefin Stacy. Bonander tells us “The idea with this video is to show a small part of all the women and transwomen that never should have been forgotten (in this particular video, Scandinavian women from the 19th- and 20th century). To ask a woman to smile and stay “pretty” is just one example of the pain we aren’t allowed to show to the world, a pain that is ignored and often forgotten. No more.”
