Uruguayan Latin Grammy Nominees NoTeVaGustar Presents New Single
Resilience is defined as the ability of the human being to adapt positively to adversity. This is what Pegame más fuerte, the new single off Suenan las alarmas, the most recent and acclaimed album of Uruguayan band and Latin Grammy Nominees No te va gustar (Popart Discos) is about. It is an energetic rock imprinted song, within the conceptual framework of an album that questions the context of international, social, political and personal uncertainty that crosses the world, through a handful of songs that seek to propose a refuge to protect the spirit and the heart. In this original studio version, the song counts with the special participation of Herbert Vianna (Os Paralamas do Sucesso).

Bonander remembers forgotten women from history on video for ‘Smile’

The film is directed, filmed and edited by Bonander, with help from Josefin Stacy. Bonander tells us “The idea with this video is to show a small part of all the women and transwomen that never should have been forgotten (in this particular video, Scandinavian women from the 19th- and 20th century). To ask a woman to smile and stay “pretty” is just one example of the pain we aren’t allowed to show to the world, a pain that is ignored and often forgotten. No more.”
