“Leather Jacket Song” is a soaring new track from Philly-based Dominy
“As far as a story behind this album, my drummer (Zakary Iannetelli) and I (John Dominy, guitarist/songwriter) both moved from Philly to Nashville for a couple years,” frontman John explains. “We toured with different bands and cut our teeth there for several years, but we both decided to move back to Philly to start our current project a year ago. We added my brother Alex Dominy (keys) and Michael Youngkin (guitar, bass) and cut the album ‘Wet Leather’ over the summer at Gradwell House in Haddon Heights, NJ. The album is heavily influenced by our time in Nashville, and we’re hyped to bring a country/roots rock vibe to Philly’s growing music scene. We’ve gotten airtime on WXPN as well.”
