Cam to Appear in Macy’s 91st Annual Thanksgiving Day Parade

Acclaimed singer/songwriter Cam will be sharing her holidays with millions this Thursday, November 23, as she appears in the 91st Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, one of America’s favorite seasonal spectaculars. During the two-and-one-half mile parade route on 34th Street in New York City, the Grammy, CMA, ACM, CMT and AMA nominated artist will ride the Domino Sugar float, and, perform her new single, “Diane,” which will be telecast on NBC.

This week “Diane,” a preview of new music from Cam’s forthcoming 2018 Arista Nashville/RCA Records album, arrives at country radio. Officially impacting radio on Monday, December 4, the new single was co-written by Cam, Jeff Bhasker, and Tyler Johnson, the team behind her Platinum-certified #1 smash, “Burning House,” which remains the most-downloaded song by a female country artist released since 2015. Nightmares on Wax Announces 2018 US Tour and New Remix

Nightmares on Wax is releasing a limited edition 12” of recently revealed single “Citizen Kane” on December 1st. The gospel-tinged hip-hop soul original, featuring long time collaborator Mozes is featured with and without a guest verse from Kanye West and Flume collaborator Allan Kingdom.

It comes backed with two remixes from Chicago house legend Ron Trent, who steps up the pace for the dancefloor with a full vocal mix and the more stripped back Night Dubbin remix for serious late-night sessions.

Idles’ new favourite band: Table Scraps

Table Scraps have announced their new album ‘Autonomy’ and premiered a brand new track from it, ‘Sick Of Me’, at DIY today ahead of its release this Friday 17th. On the song, Scott Vincent Abbott of the band has said “‘Sick of Me’ is about when friendships stagnate and minor annoyance gives way to mouldering resentment. Then juxtapose that feeling on top of a jangly sunshine pop backdrop (or as close to that as we ever get!). The echo of our breeze block 5m x 5m (and very un-soundproofed) room also perfectly suited the track’s claustrophobic feel. The video for “Superhuman,” the latest song to be released from British musician Tom Forest’s forthcoming debut album Hope, is premiering via Culture Collide. Of the song Culture Collide hails it’s “lyrically emotional and musically infectious.”

Prosthetic Records Signs Extreme Progressive Metal Outfit HOWLING SYCAMORE

Tiso elaborates, “HOWLING SYCAMORE was born from the stubborn idea of melting together different styles of heavy music into something powerful, sincere and with a strong identity. I wanted to mix extreme metal drumming, layered down-tuned guitars and old school prog metal singing. Dua Lipa Returns To The U.S. For Sold-Out Tour

Fresh off the heels of her first sold-out headlining arena tour across Europe, Dua Lipa returned last night to the U.S. to kick off the North American leg of her Self-Titled tour in Boston. Her sold-out tour received an overwhelming response from fans, with most dates including New York, Chicago and Los Angeles selling out in one day. In addition to adding a second date in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Palladium, she relocated several shows to larger venues in order to accommodate demand.

Dan Fogelberg Will Benefit the Prostate Cancer Foundation

The highly-anticipated album, A Tribute to Dan Fogelberg, is now available on CD, digital and streaming platforms. Released worldwide through BMG, sales will benefit the Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF), a cause near and dear to Dan’s wife, Jean Fogelberg. In 2008, a year after Dan Fogelberg passed away from prostate cancer, Jean released “Sometimes A Song”, a Valentine’s Day gift to her from Dan, and donated proceeds to PCF. Each year since then she has designed the annual PCF Holiday Cards to help raise money and awareness.

Newly signed to Interscope Records, the electronic artists Louis The Child, comprised of 21-year-old Robby Hauldren and 20-year-old Freddy Kennett, share their music video for “Right To It,” featuring Ashe.

Of the lilting, summery “Right to It,” Hauldren says: “Freddy started playing this bass line and everyone was like, ‘Yes, that.’ It’s crazy when you have that kind of energy in a room where all of a sudden everyone is instantly inspired. We wrote the entire song a couple of hours later. It has a Sunday barbeque, day-drinking type of vibe. We were like, ‘Let’s just write a song that would feel incredible when you’re hanging out, just kicking it on a beautiful day.'”

Eagles Set Initial 2018 Tour Dates

The Eagles – Don Henley, Joe Walsh & Timothy B. Schmit, with Vince Gill and Deacon Frey – have set initial tour dates for 2018, beginning March 14 in Chicago, Illinois through July 28 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with additional concerts expected to be announced shortly. The tour will feature stadium concerts in Orlando, Miami, Denver and Minneapolis with Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band; Washington D.C. and Philadelphia with James Taylor & His All-Star Band; and Dallas, Texas with Chris Stapleton sharing the bill; with all other dates as an “Evening with the Eagles.”

Belgian Electronic Duo Ganja White Night Reveal “Origins” LP

Impose Mag premieres cosmic “Vision(s)” from Infinite Third

Yesterday, St. Petersburg-based avant looper Billy Mays III, a.k.a. Infinite Third, premiered his new single on Impose Magazine who called the track “…a brilliant listen that manages to accomplish a lot drawing from a minimalist palette.”

Tampa Bay Times has run an in-depth profile on Mays and he was bestowed two “Best of the Bay” awards from Creative Loafing’s reader’s poll – Best Local Experimental Act and Best Local Instrumentalist. His interactive looping project was also chosen by Shure Microphones for an international marketing campaign.

Nitti Gritti fuses rap and electronic music in “C’est La Vie” EP

Nitti Gritti, whose career started just over a year ago. New Fumes is Daniel Huffman from Dallas, TX. A noise musician and visual artist, Huffman has lent his talents to a multitude of diverse bands. He was a member of the 90s space rock outfit Comet as well as the Bitches Brew-loving improv group Ghostcar, and was a touring guitarist for the Polyphonic Spree, and TOBACCO. He’s been part of the touring entourage for and a collaborator with the Flaming Lips, and performed with them when they broke the Guiness World Record for most shows played in a 24 hour period.
