Laedj – ‘Laser Eyes’ Single

Post-mania-disco-punk-gaze from space – Laedj (pronounced like beige), combine raw shoe gaze, fast-paced drumming and alternative rock influences to produce a hard-hitting flurry of genre melding progressive jams.

Laedj’s new single – Recorded and Engineered with Ryan Fallis at Inventions Studios and mastered by Steven John Marr – Laser Eyes is an “Ultra-high energy, synth-laden furore, with pummelling rhythms and impulsive guitars, peppered with warm harmonies that tell the story of the inevitable, cataclysmic destruction of the impending robot apocalypse”. If you like Radiohead, Foals, Fews or the 90’s, this is your jam.

Scottish troubadours JR Green share new cut ‘Tily Lily’ from their new ‘Flora EP’

The Flora EP is a body of work compiled of genuine expression. Looking back on these songs now we feel emotions of a mixed variety. Certain passages of lyricism and instrumentation appear to us as written by completely different people. That’s not to say that these songs haven’t served us well. They’ve taken us up and down the country and have bound ourselves and those involved with JR Green together. Experiences pass and become obscured through selective memory. In our fortunate position we have been able to freeze these experiences in songs, songs that make us squirm like eels with embarrassment, songs that make us get up stage night after night and perform with a sense of purpose. We hope to see you in the future, proud and bound together again.

Robin Martin New Single ‘Drunk on You’

Robin Martin is a recording artist from Northern Ireland. While making a living from cover bands, Robin always had a passion for American country music. “The first singers voice I remember as a child was Willie Nelson singing “Yesterdays Wine” while traveling to the north coast to visit family.”

Robins influences include Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard and more recently, Chris Stapleton, Zac Brown Band and Brad Paisley!

Curated and edited by Keir, the clip is a collage of old films he loves and imagery that provoke the senses. On the inspiration behind the track, Keir reflects, “I wanted it to all be about that feeling when you don’t care about anything anymore, you just want to hold onto the one person that really matters.”

Hailing from Bristol, Keir first caught the eye of critics after performing live for BBC Introducing at Maida Vale and subsequently gained traction at a series of unforgettable early live performances at The Great Escape, Secret Garden Party and Glastonbury, among others. Keir and his band, which includes his brother on percussion, have recently finished a support tour with cult US band The Drums, which included a sold out performance at Shepherds Bush Empire. Following the success of his support tour, Keir has announced his first ever headline shows, including dates in London and Bath.

It seems strange in the modern world of music, one seemingly dominated by manufactured pop bands and synthesised dance music, that the story of FACE is one of friends who banded together to make music they all genuinely love, who aren?t afraid to write big, bold, ambitious pop songs that can engage with the masses on a grand scale.

This is witnessed on their incredibly impressive debut EP ?YESPLEASE,? released on the 24th November. It?s a record that bristles with energy not seen from a band since the early days of The Killers, as FACE channel the widescreen rock of Bruce Springsteen and the pop nous of The 1975 with effortless ease.

Finnish lo-fi psych trio Lake Jons “Colors”

Directed by Raimo Saba & Markus Kontiainen in the remote forests of their native Finland, the “Colors” video is both avant-garde and visually stunning… definitely worth checking out! Lake Jons has been cultivating their sound since 2014, using the diverse, tight-knit music scene in Helsinki as their petri dish for inspiration. Utilizing samples, simple driving rhythms, delicate guitar progressions and powerful, soulful vocals as pillars, this is clearly reflected in the bands’ sound. Exploring themes of introspection, existentialism, and human relationships, the lyrics detail a quieter existence. A calm and persistent “life will go on” motif is prevalent throughout their first full-length album, Lake Jons, which follows on the the heels of two EP’s they released in 2016.

With a staccato, swirling production from KE on the Track, “Rumpshaker 18” is a ferocious banger with an impossibly infectious hook. Featuring an appearance from Kid Ink, “Rumpshaker 18” is a seductive and boastful anthem, ideal for the whip or the strip club. Anenon announces new album ‘Tongue’

Anenon’s Tongue, the follow up to last year’s breakthrough Petrol, is a beautiful album. That’s an adjective whose meaning has practically been obliterated by Hallmark prose and hyperbolic idiocy. But occasionally, a work of art digs deep enough to excavate the underlying meaning that existed in antiquity and figures to persist until we’re soil and dust.

Summoner´s Circle Release Debut Music Video for “Become None”

SUMMONER’S CIRCLE, the epic metal band from the USA, released their debut music video for the track “Become None”, from the upcoming full-length album Tome. This video, originating from the otherworldly denizens of Mercury, successfully captures the essence of the band’s theatrically inspired, occult-infused brand of heavy metal. Shrouded figures, hidden books of lore, ceremonial daggers, human sacrifice and rituals of transformation all accompany the eerily anthemic musical score.

The video was filmed and edited by Norwegian artist Thomas Mortveit, and the music was recorded and produced by Canadian engineer Yanic Bercier at WaveTransform Studios.

Epoch Failure “Warrior’s Hymn”

“Warrior’s Hymn” is a high-energy, no-frills performance clip. Director Patrick Tohill opted for a straightforward approach, built on a visual foundation of heart and grit, to mirror the song’s lyrical sentiments. The raw, industrial setting pays homage to the spartan landscapes of the duo’s own challenged upbringings. This video also features a stunning cutaway sequence with electrifying Muay Thai fighter Ashley Burns, who trains at Nashville MMA and fights for Sidthilaw Muay Thai in Nashville, TN.

Seattle’s The Complex Dialect Release New Track, “One Constellation”

“‘One Constellation’ is the emotional turning-point in the album. It’s the beginning of a mentality shift from calling out these external and internal issues we face towards processing those issues and moving forward. A large portion of moving forward is using the concept of perception as a tool for healing. The song removes the listener from the saturation of pain we face in our daily lives and challenges them to ask, ‘what does this all mean in the grand scheme of existence?,’ by changing the landscape towards the deep cosmos. Sometimes to really process and begin that journey towards progress and change, you have to change your perspective, and in this case step outside your own personal universe” – Earnie Ashwood

Young Dolph Is Alive, Well, and Thriving in “What’s The Deal”

Still in the midst of recovery from a serious shooting incident in September, during which he was shot twice in the arm and once in the leg, Young Dolph stands triumphant. While Dolph’s last visual “While U Here” had the rapper taking a moment to contemplate the dangers of street life, “What’s The Deal” is a boastful banger with the Memphis rapper assuring his haters that he’s alive and well. With menacing production from DJ Squeeky, “What’s The Deal” is the leading track from Thinking Out Loud, Dolph’s latest album. “What’s The Deal” is the fourth video from Thinking Out Loud, following “While U Here,” the FADER-premiered “Point Across,” and the emotional “Believe Me,” which featured footage of Dolph emerging from the hospital and reuniting with his family.

However the band is really just of a group of friends, joined together with the intention of chasing their own creative restlessness. Melange is Adrian Ceballos (drums and vocals), Daniel Fernandez (bass and vocals), Mario Zamora (keyboard and vocals), Sergio Ceballos (guitar and vocals), and Miguel Rosón (guitar and vocals).

People Used To Live Here is the haunting new full-length from New Zealand-based atmospheric metal conjurers SPOOK THE HORSES. Ahead of its anticipated unveiling this Friday, No Clean Singing is currently streaming the record in full issuing, “The entire album flows almost like a single composition; some of the tracks move seamlessly from one to the next (it makes sense that the album is presented here in a single YouTube stream without artificial breaks). Yet without ever breaking into a race, the band are skilled at building tension and changing moods, bringing the music to emotional crescendos but also plumbing the quiet depths of abandonment and desolation.”

Hail The Sun Release New Single

Secret Wars comes midway through Hail The Sun’s national tour supporting I the Mighty, is in essence, a more aggressive extension of the band’s previous release, Culture Scars. The initial idea and mission statement for this EP actually took shape while the band was recording Culture Scars, and as Melero points out in the Alternative Press premiere for the “1109” video, is even alluded to in the liner notes for that record. Thematically, on Secret Wars, the band looks to “acknowledge all those battles that are kept behind closed doors. There may always be a force working against us, by our chemistry, or by those who supposedly have the public’s best interest in mind”. Secret Wars serves as the perfect capstone to the Culture Scars era of the band and will undoubtedly get listeners excited for what’s in store next from Hail The Sun.

‘The Beautiful and Damned’ album and short film paints a very dire portrait of Gerald/G-Eazy that is very real and has never been shared by him before.

Originally Gerald saw limitations in his life so he created G-Eazy as a way to make it past those and live how he thought he wanted to live and become that rockstar he thought he wanted to be. The problematic pattern that has come from the rise of this star is that G-Eazy lives a constant dark cliché of addiction and over-indulgence in his favorite vices that surround him each night in the lifestyle in which he’s found himself. Heavy handed in reference to F. Scott Fitzgerald’s novel of the same name, ‘The Beautiful and Damned’ shows us hung-over Gerald left having to clean up reckless G’s aftermath on a daily basis.
