ELM: Dog Full-Length From Italian Noise Rockers Out Now
Dog is the latest full-length from Italian noise rockers ELM. Out now via Italy’s Bronson Recordings, the record was captured live at the band’s rehearsal studio in April 2017 and includes a cover of Johnny Cash’s “Folsom Prison Blues.” Holed up in their den, they used no outside producers or studio trickery, Dog is dirty, sharp, crushing, no-frills rock ‘n’ roll, constantly overloaded but never underestimated.

The Gloomies drop new single “Space”
California based indie-pop duo The Gloomies are back with a new single “Space”. The track is a lush reverb-drenched power ballad-esque duet between the Gloomies’ Andy Craig & guest vocalist Madeline Follin (Cults). This special collaboration was mixed by Cults’ songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Brian Oblivion with additional assistance by producer/engineer Shane Stoneback.

In a first for Australia, and quite possibly the world, colourful Sydney indie video poppers Enerate, have today announced they will be releasing their anticipated debut full-length as an interactive visual album – an app containing interactive music videos for each and every song. Titled Good Times Airlines and featuring recent single Half Asleep, the interactive album will be available for free on the Apple App Store and Google Play. The music will be available on all the usual platforms, but there is no doubt the most immersive and exciting way to consume this album is through the Enerate app. Out on November 16, the album and app release coinsides with the release of their new single Transit Lounge.
Throne of Heresy – ‘Decameron’
Throne of Heresy release their ambitious new concept album Decameron on November 3rd through The Sign Records. The album depicts the horrors of the Black Death in the 14th century. Much like the book it takes its name from, Decameron revolves around 10 stories, beginning with the first known victims of the plague in Asia and moving through the known world, ending on the band’s native Ostrogothian soil. Throne of Heresy teamed up with producer Magnus “Devo” Andersson (Marduk) to create a blend of heavy riffing and atmospheric, sometimes even chaotic, melodies wrapped in an earthy and dynamic soundscape.
Brighton’s White Room Release Psychedelic Thriller ‘Cannibal Song’
Brighton indie upstarts White Room have announced the release of psychedelic thriller Cannibal Song, taken from their upcoming double EP Eight out later this year via Deltasonic Records (The Coral, The Vryll Society).
Recent signees to the legendary Liverpool label, White Room’s nod to 60s psychedelic rock alongside more contemporary influences (Pond, Temples, Cage The Elephant) is evident throughout their new record Eight, a collection of songs that interlock conceptually, comprising similar themes such as forward thinking, hope, positivity and escape.
Thomas Rhett To Kick Off And The Writer Is
On November 6, Big Deal Music Group and Mega House Music’s acclaimed podcast series And The Writer Is… will partner with Country Music Association for CMA Awards Week, to compliment the CMA Awards being held on November 8.
The podcast, which normally releases a new episode each Monday, will offer a new episode every day, beginning with a conversation with CMA Male Vocalist of the Year nominee Thomas Rhett. Episodes with top country songwriters Rhett Akins, Nicolle Galyon, Ashley Gorley and Zach Crowell will follow.
