With Dream Dream Secret Colours continues to craft a sound that reaches far beyond the city limits of their hometown of Chicago, IL. After heading back to Dripping Springs, TX and recording their fourth full length LP at Dandy Sounds Studios with engineer/producer Dan Duzsynski, Dream Dream relishes on the current level of the demand on society to rely on their screens, devices, and multi-media influence. Dream Dream takes its musical cues from indie, pop, psychedelia, and garage rock, captivating listeners through a myriad of melodies that make up Secret Colours signature sound. Songs like “Changes in Nature” and “Pins and Needles” are homages to their influences while “Feed the Machine” delivers a pounding vibe of bass with an attitude of 70’s London.

Able Baker Fox release ‘Purple Mountains’ track from ‘Visions’

Able Baker Fox is the merger of two 90s post-hardcore heavy hitters- Mike Reed, Ben Reed, and Jeff Gensterblum of Small Brown Bike joined up with Nathan Ellis of the Casket Lottery and the rest is history. Nearing their tenth year, the band is about to release their new album Visions this summer.

Nathan Ellis, had this to say about the new song “America signed the Declaration of Independence 241 years ago and a new independent nation was born. In the definition of the American Dream by James Truslow Adams in 1931, “life should be better and richer and fuller for everyone, with opportunity for each according to ability or achievement” regardless of social class or circumstances of birth. Anyway, here’s a song called “Purple Mountains” from the forthcoming Able Baker Fox record, “Visions” out 8/25/17.”

Daniel Hart shares synth-driven ‘A Ghost Story’ track “Safe Safe Safe”

In his most ambitious work yet, Hart has crafted a score that is both astral in sound and cosmic in scope, making the overwhelming fear of eternity feel a little more manageable. Following the reflective, yearning piece “The Secret In the Wall” that surfaced last month, the breathy, synth-driven cut “Safe Safe Safe” premieres via The Playlist and is good example of the death of Hart’s score.

Katy Perry Releases ‘Swish Swish’ Lyric Video

Earlier today, global superstar Katy Perry released the lyric video for her latest single ‘Swish Swish’ featuring Nicki Minaj. The video – which comes three weeks after Perry’s album Witness topped the US Billboard Charts and went #1 at iTunes in 46 countries – features famous Brazilian popstar Gretchen and was shot in Salvador, Brazil in collaboration with dance group Fit Dance.

The lyric video was directed by Dario Vetere and David Campbell, produced by Amina Alakija with choreography by Fabio Duarte and CK Calasans.
