The American South and its stomps andhttps://glidemagazine.com/183985/video-premiere-savage-radley-rock-ramble-across-south-gone/ twangs have heavily influenced The Savage Radley’s music, but one thing is certain: this is not throwback country. Produced by Skylar Wilson (Justin Townes Earle, Caitlin Rose, Andrew Combs), the band’s Delta-infused sound mixes classic Southern writing with progressive power, soon showcased on their new album, Kudzu, out June 30. The first single, “Gone,” premiered with Glide Magazine today, saying, “the simple combo of gritty guitar and heavy drumbeats hits like a hard and defiant blast of rock and roll.”
Kudzu is assuredly influenced by songwriter Shaina Goodman’s upbringing. A Kentucky-raised songwriter and Delta farmer’s daughter, her songs are infused with familiar pillars of Southern culture: the intricacies of rural life, the tragedy of tormented love, the belief in what can be accomplished through hard work and elbow grease, and the mysteriously seductive power of the muddy waters of the Mississippi River.
The track premiered on The Wild Honey Pie who said, “The song starts with an avalanche of words and disembodied arpeggios that effortlessly click into place once the drums roll in. It’s a quirky and satisfying introduction to his latest genre-bending vision.”
The poignant title track from country legend Glen Campbell’s farewell album, Adi?s, has been revealed. The song, which premiered via Rolling Stone, brings Campbell’s career full circle by reuniting him one last time with his lifelong collaborator Jimmy Webb, who penned Campbell’s stratospheric crossover hits “Wichita Lineman,” “Galveston,” and “By The Time I Get To Phoenix.” Popularized in 1989 by Linda Ronstadt, who made it a Top Ten Adult Contemporary hit, “Adi?s” is a song that Campbell always loved but never recorded. “Glen and I used to play that song all the time,” Webb, who wrote four of the 12 tracks on the album, recently told Rolling Stone. “We played it in dressing rooms, hotels, we played it over at his house, we played it at my house. He always loved that song. I heard ‘Adiós’ this morning and my wife and I both broke down and cried all over this hotel room. It’s the first time we ever heard it. Carl just did something extraordinary. This album is just kind of a gift from the gods.”

HAUS: a love letter to London
HAUS say on the video, “We wanted to capture London, and how eclectic it is as a place. All the different people, they’re all just as important as the person next to them. There’s just so many stories contained in just one street, one market, one pub, one corner. So many varied background, millions of childhoods, adulthoods, all united in their communities, our community. We wanted to highlight the importance of hearing and sharing our stories and how powerful that can be, how it can breed empathy and unify us, and how that?s a rebellion in itself, in a world so concerned with dividing us. People need to stand up for themselves, be true to themselves. If you don’t like you what you’re doing with your life, try do something else. You can make changes, even if they start small. Speak up about what you believe is right. We are all capable of doing something special in this life. From day one the majority of us are told not to follow our dreams.
