Previously unreleased demo of Paul McCartney’s ‘Twenty Fine Fingers’ available on Vevo

One of the most critically acclaimed albums of the eighties, nominated for both BRIT and Grammy Awards, Flowers In The Dirt saw McCartney team up with Elvis Costello to co-write a third of the album (My Brave Face, You Want Her Too, Don’t Be Careless Love and That Day is Done) as well as boasting production credits from producers such as Mitchell Froom, Trevor Horn, David Foster, Steve Lipson, Elvis Costello and Paul McCartney himself. Pink Floyd guitar legend David Gilmour makes an appearance on We Got Married and George Martin’s string arrangement on Put It There is amongst the many album highlights.

The reissue of Flowers In The Dirt is available from March 24th. Formats include a deluxe boxset which contains previously unreleased demos, unseen archival video, notebook of Paul’s handwritten lyrics and notes, Linda McCartney Flowers In The Dirt exhibition catalogue, 112-page hardcover book documenting the making of album and more. Strawberry Girls Release New Single

Strawberry Girls have grown as musicians since first recording their debut album. If you listen and compare their earlier work to the upcoming record, the difference is massive. This contrast is most highlighted on the re-imagined version of “Black Night, Golden Circus”. It’s the first track the band ever wrote together and they were excited to go back and redo the song. Guitarist Zachary Garren explains, “When we originally recorded it, along with the rest of the original Italian Ghosts album, we played with less distortion and less energy. Over time, our live shows got more aggressive and energetic, and the recordings didn’t really hold up to what we became.”

THE TWO TENS PREMIERE THEIR NEW “KEEPING HOPE ALIVE”

The duo known as The Two Tens have racked up a lot of accomplishments since the release of their first EP, Volume 1, including three additional EPs, the full-length LP Volume, and four US tours. Not to mention that the 12-song Volume album yielded seven (yes, seven) fully-realized videos, all made on DIY budgets funded solely by the band themselves, as was the production of the first album.

New Video Belly ft. Nav – “Re Up”

Canadian rapper Belly had the best year of his career in 2016, as he snagged co-writing credits on “6 Inch” from Beyoncè’s Lemonade, and released two mixtapes under Roc Nation. An affiliate of The Weeknd’s XO crew, Belly takes time to analyze what else can come with the type of success he’s experiencing. From his November-released Inzombia tape, he opened up about the challenges of living in the spotlight and the fast life it can provide on track “Re-Up.” Today, we’re premiering the song’s video which features fellow Canadian rapper, producer, and XO-affiliate NAV. In the video, the two ride out on the highway, making occasional stops at bars and clubs on what feels like a never-ending trip. “‘Re-Up’ is a view that’s rarely talked about,” Belly said through email. “The downsides of this life we live and the vices we all have.” Belly is currently on a 40-city tour with Juicy J and gearing up to release his debut album this Spring. Tim McGraw & Faith Hill Announce Additional SOUL2SOUL World Tour Dates

Due to high ticket demand, Tim McGraw & Faith Hill’s Soul2Soul The World Tour 2017 announced additional shows today in all new cities including Edmonton, AB; Moline, IL; Las Vegas, NV; Ft. Wayne, IN; Greenville, SC and a second show in Denver, CO. Ticket pre-sales begin February 3rd and tickets for the general public go on sale starting February 10th at 10am local time.

Gasparilla Music Festival Reveals Initial Lineup

Tampa is gearing up for the one of the most anticipated events of the season: The 6th Annual Gasparilla Music Festival presented by Frontier (“GMF”) which returns to Curtis Hixon Park on March 11th & 12th.

The community supported non-profit event has become a must do for live music fans and the perfect addition to any Spring Break itinerary. Today, GMF reveals an initial lineup of performers that will be appearing at the music and culture gathering. Headlining on Saturday, March 11 is Grammy Award nominee Cage the Elephant. GMF’17 will mark the group’s first live appearance in the Tampa Bay Area in over two years. Closing out the festival on Sunday, March 12, the prolific, insurgent and multi genre favorite Ryan Adams will celebrate the release of his new album, “Prisoner,” with fans at the fest. On Feb 4th, rock act Slot embark on their biggest ever tour across Russia. The tour marks the bands 15 year anniversary and covers a great number of cities, some of which they will play for the first time. The Spring dates below are just the first part of the tour and includes the cities of the Urals, Siberia, the Far East and Trans-Baikal. The band will announce more dates in the coming weeks and plan to leave no stone unturned in trying to get out to as many people as humanly possible in their native country.

Also of note, the bands latest video Ripples On The Water has been a massive success. The video is their most ambitious to date with powerful images and a specific story line that capture the mood and message of the song. Music Producer Menesjai Releases Smashing New Remix of Hit Song “River” by Bishop Briggs

The very talented, up-and-coming electronic music producer Menesjai (men’ess’jay) delivers another amazing track with his reworking of the smash single “River” from the incredibly talented new artist Bishop Briggs. The original song, which has been featured in commercial spots for the Oscar-nominated film Fences, has gotten an epic boost with this remix featuring Menesjai’s signature sound of hard-hitting bass, heavy synths, use of cinematic strings and choirs, and an upbeat tempo to bring more bounce to the single. The YouTube remix video was created by director and Menesjai’s longtime collaborator Francisco Gonzalez Jr.

West Coast Town, the new solo album from acclaimed musician, songwriter and performer Chris Shiflett, will be released April 14 on SideOneDummy Records. In advance of the release, Rolling Stone is premiering the title track today, praising, “….flawlessly blends blue-collar country punk with a catchy Bakersfield bounce. Borrowing the rowdy swagger of Prison Bound-era Social Distortion and the SoCal sheen of Buck Owens and Dwight Yoakam, Shiflett crafts a sound that is both geographically grounded and wholly his own.” Additionally, the world radio premiere of the song will take place at 5pm ET today with Mojo Nixon on SiriusXM’s Outlaw Country, Channel 60.

Bakermat Announces ‘Good Vibe Tribe’ North American Tour

Dutch DJ/producer Bakermat has revealed the dates for his forthcoming ‘Good Vibe Tribe’ North American tour. Making his return across the pond, ‘Good Vibe Tribe’ will commence in Minneapolis on March 17, then work its way across the States, including dates in Miami, Los Angeles, Montreal and Washington DC before finishing off at Austin’s Euphoria Festival.

Lodewijk Fluttert, better known as Bakermat is recognised for his uplifting house style. His single “One Day (Vandaag)” has amassed over 47 million Spotify plays, peaked in the Top 5 of several European singles charts and went platinum in Germany. His follow-up single, “Teach Me” was premiered by BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong and gained over 20 million Spotify plays. The lively track was later reworked by revered American producer, MK. Wiwek releases two new songs on OWSLA

Dutch/Indian producer Wiwek has shared two new singles, “Faka G” (which is slang for “What’s up” in Dutch/Surinamese) and “Double Dribble (ft. Keno)” via THUMP, both are available as free downloads today. The tracks are hallmark examples of the ‘jungle terror’ genre that Wiwek invented, mixing booming Dutch house drums, tribal instruments and well-placed animal noises for one of the most unique genres in dance. Both songs feature 90s cartoon-inspired animated visualizers.

WE DON’T KNOW is the first taste from their EP and it is dense, dark, and raw. The thumping drums and unsettling organ drones dredge up an eerie tension that eventually erupts into a chaotic, gnarled mash of distortion and noise.
