Single: Rohn Bueller – ‘Forever’
Rohn bueller- Forever cover ‘Forever’ by Rohn Bueller is a call to arms to oneself to re-establish his place in this game. With everything mainstream going on it was important to remind the hip-hop culture that there is still a heart in hip-hop. Getting his hands on this beat that hit a chord in his heart and then unleashing it on the track. Everyone goes through a time where they need to be reminded of their abilities and how important it is to see them through. With slick wordplay and a catchy hook, he raps about staying focused on his goals and restoring a love that was almost lost.

Amos’ meditative metal band, Om, and longtime singer-songwriter project, Holy Sons, also naturally find their way into the Chalice cauldron. Upon returning, Tennis’ husband-and-wife team of Patrick Riley and Alaina Moore self-produced the record in a small cabin in Fraser, CO. It was mixed by Spoon’s Jim Eno at Public HiFi.

He spent his early years after high school working as a dishwasher and a line cook, occasionally playing in local bar bands, and later working as a graphic designer and concert video editor.
“There is something about the stillness and monotony of growing up in a small, southern town where I felt disgustingly inward, and at the same time, fixated on the crude surfaces of things…, ” McNeil reflects. “Pores of skin, grease in food, crackle of bad speakers…and everything else became a background to these surfaces…this album is about that sort of feeling”

MARGATE Announces ‘Snow Day EP’, To Be Released December 16 via Cyber Tracks
In a season full of constantly replayed traditional holiday music whimsically imagining a “White Christmas”, MARGATE has created a melodic punk soundtrack to a raging, debauched Christmas season for the black sheeps of the world, with the release of their upcoming SNOW DAY EP (digital release date: December 16, 2016) on Cyber Tracks. The physical release will be limited to CDs only available at the band’s shows, first available at the Cyber Tracks Christmas Show at L.A.’s famous Whisky a Go-Go (featuring performances by Unwritten Law, Pulley, Implants, This Legend, and a DJ set by Cyber Tracks’ co-owner/NOFX’s El Hefe).
With Snow Day, Margate has given an anthemic voice to a Christmas spirit more mischievous than merry – as evidenced by the title track’s nostalgic call to “pile it up and watch it burn”, along with “I Had a Tall One”, an ode to winter drinking declaring “Holiday’s are for thinking, but in between’s for drinking”, and the fantasized Happy Days-inspired track, “Xmas at Potsie’s.” With production from Paul Miner (New Found Glory, Thrice, Death By Stereo), Snow Day sounds as crisp as the lyrics are debauched, really channeling the beer-in-hand sing-a-long spirit of the music. Acoustic versions of the title track and “I Had a Tall One” are also included, lending a campfire, “party’s over” conclusion to the off-the-rails energetic essence to the full-band tracks that start the EP.

The track is featured on Jason Klauber and Molly Shea’s sophomore album, DADA minor, which arrived in September on PaperCup Music. The album finds connections between the golden ages of psychedelic experimentation, pop balladry, and college rock.” While BrooklynVegan simply stated, “It’s good to have these two back.”
Of the video, Acrylics stated, “Set in the key of DADA minor, we collaborated with Alex Goldberg and Graham Mason, who dreamed up and star in an increasingly surreal rivalry between office workers.
