New Release from BOB WEIR “BLUE MOUNTAIN”
For the first time in ten years, Bob Weir will release a new solo record, BLUE MOUNTAIN, on September 30th—marking his debut project since signing with Columbia/Legacy Recordings, a division of Sony Music Entertainment and Sony Music Entertainment Australia. The release is his first album of entirely original material in thirty years. Producer Josh Kaufman partnered with Weir on the album, which features songwriting collaboration with Josh Ritter and performances from guitarists Aaron Dessner and Bryce Dessner and bassist Scott Devendorf.
Drawing on his earlier experiences working on a ranch in Wyoming as a teenager, Weir joined with Ritter, the Dessners, Devendorf and Kaufman to celebrate those times with twelve new songs.

Arkells Reveal New Video
The video features the band being observed in a collection of unique art installations. When coming up with a video concept for “My Heart’s Always Yours” the band decided to turn to Alyssa Pankiw of the interactive media production company, The Young Astronauts. Max said:
“Making a video for a romantic song is hard. If you’re not careful it’ll quickly turn in to the trailer for A Walk To Remember. We loved (director) Ally’s previous work, and when she pitched a treatment that was more abstract and less on the nose, we were immediately drawn to the idea. There’s a visceral experience about being in an art gallery that I really enjoy. A lot of great art doesn’t serve it right up to you – you have to patiently take it in and then unpack your feelings. That’s what the video offers – it gives me the feels without any trite nods to romantic nostalgia.”

RCA Nashville GRAMMY Award-winner, Miranda Lambert, continues to share details pertaining to first studio album in two years, The Weight Of These Wings, which releases November 18.
The Weight Of These Wings is set to be a double album, consisting of 24 songs. Lambert has given each “disc” its own specific title; Disc 1 will be titled THE NERVE and Disc 2 THE HEART.
