Round Hill Records darlings and newest signing Royal Teeth are heading out on the road this fall with a short headlining run before hopping onto California alt-rock band Rooney’s tour to support their fall dates. The band will headline three shows in September, including a play at the new Mondo festival in New York before joining Rooney on October 12th at Barracuda in Austin, TX. The Rooney support dates will take the band up the East Coast before wrapping at the Marlin Room at Webster Hall on October 29th in New York City. Royal Teeth are hitting the road in support of their highly anticipated forthcoming EP Amateurs, set to drop on November 18th via Round Hill Records.

The band’s upcoming release may be titled Amateurs, but after 5 years, three cities, multiple TV appearances, two albums, and hundreds of days on the road, the band is anything but. “Kids Conspire,” the infectious lead single, showcases Nora Patterson’s passionate lead vocals and buoys her up on a wave of ringing synths and propulsive, afropop-inflected beats. It’s a clear relative of “Wild,” an anthem of possibility and youth, but with more muscle and urgency.
