A new trio out of Melbourne, At/All, premiered their second single off their debut album last Friday on DIY Magazine: “On ‘Frequency’, they channel their finest sci-fi leanings into a synth-pop masterclass.” It comes off their upcoming album, Sun Dog, that’s out on August 26th and you can hear the single now via Soundcloud.
At/All is Babare and Nicholson’s first project as a production duo, and their first collaboration with Roleff, who co-wrote half the tracks, and whose nimble, velvet voice adorns the LP. Sun Dog is warm, subtle and ecstatic electro-pop, a record that hums with a magic hour radiance. From the languorous, shimmering “Jingle Baba”, to the otherworldly anthem “Night Body”, Sun Dog is both hazy and bright, a record of quiet and of release, a many sided thing that rewards repeat listens.
