Lesley Barth Reveals Free-Spirited Video for “Just Like Summer”

Armed with a creative spirit and vocal harmonies for days, Lesley Barth is making the most of her summer. While wrapping up her first full-length album, which was crowd-funded by her dedicated legion of fans, the entrancing artist is once again showcasing her knack for catchy tunes and brilliant DIY visuals for her new tune “Just Like Summer.”

“In terms of the story behind the song, I had a little melody of “I love you just like summer” that popped into my head a few months ago. This idea of wanting someone as badly as you want summer felt like a strong lyrical idea to explore, and the chorus fell quickly into place, with verses following afterwards,” notes Lesley. “This is definitely the grooviest tune I’ve made so far, and it was unbelievably fun to record.”

It’s not a secret that we’ve been very quiet over the last year… There’s no big story, we love each other, we’re as good friends as we’ve ever been. Life has moved on for all of us, and we now reside in New York, London, Brighton and Leeds, geography prevents us from touring, but it can’t prevent us from releasing new music.

Gosh Pith “Gold Chain” RMX

Josh Smith and Josh Freed, better known Gosh Pith, struck absolute gold with their critically acclaimed single “Gold Chain”. The Detroit-based duo crafted a silky smooth production filled with heart wrenching vocals, a polished & steady beat evoking R&B stylings of the past, gentle percussions and moreover, a record that paid homage all those who inspired them in their youth.

AceMyth keeps the allure of the original intact, especially through the use of Gosh Pith’s mesmerizing vocal top line. The breezy, mellow jam flows effortlessly before transitioning into the main melody – a subtle glitch progression that’s back drop effortlessly infuses the vocals from Gosh Pith’s soulful masterpiece.
