ACAPULCO LIPS ALBUM STREAM
Acapulco Lips. The name twists the tongue a bit—wait, is it Apocolypse? The band did indeed emerge from a damp Seattle basement, but that’s about the darkest visual of their origin story. Rather than a kiss with mortal doom and destruction, Acapulco Lips sound much more like a make-out session on a hot, salty beach, where summer is eternal and there’s no notion of the fun stopping any time soon. If they happened to be anywhere close to the apocalypse itself, they would definitely celebrate by picking up their gear and rocking the last living daylights out of the final party in the history of civilization.

BRETT DENNEN’S NEW SINGLE “CASSIDY”
Brett Dennen’s new single, “Cassidy,” recently premiered at Billboard and can now be purchased online.
The video was shot in Jordan’s home town of Oldham, with everyone featuring in the video – either friends of Jordan’s or local Oldham characters.
The narrative in the video (directed by HECTOR) is inspired by real life events in Jordan’s life. Before Jordan had discovered he could sing or had played an instrument, he saw the film ‘Ray’ about Ray Charles and this inspired him to learn the piano. Jordan found someone local giving away an old upright piano and the next day him and his mates (who are in the video) went and picked it up and carried it through the streets back to Jordan’s flat – he then taught himself to play piano and wrote the music that would later become his debut EP.
CYNDI LAUPER TURNS NORTH CAROLINA SHOW INTO BENEFIT FOR LGBT COMMUNITY
“Sadly, once again, the civil rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people have been trampled on with the recent passage of HB2 in North Carolina. Me and my team at the True Colors Fund have been closely monitoring the situation in North Carolina and support the efforts of the Human Rights Campaign, Equality North Carolina, and others to repeal HB2 in the upcoming legislative session. The pressure to repeal HB2 is building and it is beautiful.
In the dark haze of such oppression, people and companies are stepping up to fight back against this unjust law and ensure that all North Carolinians are treated with dignity and respect, especially the transgender community. I have seen time and time again what can happen when people join together to do what is fair and the effort to repeal HB2 is the right and fair thing to do. I am hopeful that all of the current efforts to repeal HB2 will be successful and the True Colors Fund and I will continue to do all that we can to help.

PROGRAMM ALBUM STREAM
“Blurring the lines between electronica, industrial and shoegaze, the new songs are dark but melodic. DEMO TAPED NEW VIDEO
A few years ago, 18-year-old Demo Taped never imagined he would be in Belgium playing his music to a crowd of people who knew the words. He thought he would be in Atlanta, GA forever. He didn’t even think he would be alive. He’s battled with anxiety and depression for years, a struggle that landed him in the hospital for a time. At one point, he decided, that despite the panic attacks and suicidal thoughts, and despite the heartbreak that lead him to write this song (it’s a love song, but also a “fuck you, mental illness” anthem), he would channel that energy into making music and staying alive. That’s the inspiration and fuel behind “Game On,” a wonderfully sweet synth-pop anti-anxiety anthem Demo wrote and recorded as a way to battle his anxiety and loneliness.
