Joey Kneiser was a boy formed in the red-clay mountains of East Tennessee. Skinned-kneed and too blind to drive a car, he constantly searched for a place to locate his restlessness– playing in punk bands with instruments he taught himself to play, skateboarding with a pack of Oak Ridge ruffians, and writing his own songs amongst the humid Southern air.

FOLLIN “ROXY”
Follin is the musical project of brother-sister duo Madeline and Richie James Follin. In the down time between record cycles of their respective bands, (Madeline of Cults and Richie of Guards/Willowz) they decided to finally record and release something together. It was an idea that they had hoped to turn into a reality for years, but time never permitted. Finally, in the summer of 2015, their schedules aligned and they were able to make it happen. Although they’ve been making music together since they were children, these songs mark their first collaborative release.
KYLE DION NEW VIDEO
Trendsetting R&B wunderkind Kyle Dion delivers an intense, sexy, and colorful video for “In Your Feelings,” debuted by VIBE Magazine, who called the video “an accurate depiction of an intense and passionate relationship.” “In Your Feelings” is the first video from Dion’s recent Painting Sounds EP, which is available to stream and purchase. Filmed in Malibu, Calabasas, Burbank, and a desert a few hours outside of Los Angeles, the video depicts the final moments of a turbulent relationship, culminating in an act of passion and violence. “You so in your feelings,” sings the 21-year-old Cali R&B singer, as his girlfriend literally hangs him out to dry upside-down in the California wilderness. “There are different layers of meaning regarding the hanging scene, but the one closest to the surface, is the girl hung me there not to kill me, but to humiliate and punish me,” Kyle Dion explained to VIBE. “The hanging and driving scenes are actually the only reality of the music video.”

Candlebox, the influential, multi-platinum rock band from the powerful 90’s Seattle music movement, has announced a spring headlining tour in support of its long-overdue sixth album Disappearing in Airports. THE STAVES TOUR
Nonesuch Records released the English trio The Staves’ 2015 label debut If I Was to critical acclaim, with the New York Times saying “the songs are illuminated from within,” and Magnet adding, “The perfection just goes on and on until you start to wonder: Are they human?” The album was recorded in Eau Claire, WI at its producer Justin Vernon’s studio. Following the release of If I Was, The Staves performed at a string of international festivals, including Glastonbury and Vernon’s Eaux Claires, before joining Florence and the Machine’s sold-out arena tour of the UK. Now the Watford, England–based sisters—Emily (vocals), Jessica (vocals, guitar), and Camilla (vocals, ukulele) Staveley-Taylor—announce plans for a 16-city North American tour beginning June 3. Stops include Minneapolis, Washington, Nashville, and New York, among others, along with the Firefly and Eaux Claires Festivals. New Amsterdam Presents is pleased to announce the second edition of the Apples & Olives Festival in Zürich, Switzerland. DEAD TRAINS ALBUM STREAM
Today, Boston’s blues punk band Dead Trains release their anticipated full length County Road Bound via independent release.
Hailing from Boston, Dead Trains create a unique hybrid of old country blues and punk rock.
