CAM GNARLY “CABBAGE”
“I wrote ‘Cabbage’ to express my love for greenery & growth,” Says Cam. “Now that could mean; weed, money, veggies or simply organic cabbage haha. But in any case I made it broad enough to cover all bases & leave it to the listener’s interpretation. I spent 2015 planting seeds so I had to start the new year off strong showing I’m ready to harvest.”

CLAIR MORGAN “ROGUE ISLAND” REMISICENT OF CAP N’ JAZZ, FOXING AT NOISEY
Clair Morgan is a seven-piece rock outfit from Richmond, Virginia. With influences ranging from the likes of Cursive, Teenage Fanclub, Shipping News, Hum, Cap’n Jazz and several others, it comes as no surprise that this enormous collective bring their own unique spin to mathematically dynamic indie rock. No surface is left untouched as the group expands on the songwriting of frontman Clair Morgan with a variety of auxiliary instrumentation, smooth harmonies, complex interlaced guitars and syncopated rhythms. All of this combined leads to a unique live experience that can only best be described as a tiny orchestra playing catchy rock tunes.

KENDALL LAKE NEW SINGLE
Kendal Lake’s infectious electro-pop single, “Rolling Stone” is designed to have listeners grooving to the hypnotic beat. A reverberating synth mingles with unquestionably powerful vocals, creating an atmosphere that undulates around the haunting melody. The lyrics poetically observe a life of wading through the lonely waters of a wandering existence, as Lake reflects on the clarity and isolation that come with moving from one place to another, and running from one problem to the next. It’s a track built on intensely human emotions yet influenced by our digital pop age – providing an addictive ambiance enveloped by a darkly catchy rhythm.

FUTURE UNLIMITED ‘CALM DOWN’
After a three year release hiatus, Future Unlimited haved delivered their sophomore EP, Calm Down. Shortly after collaborating with Shia Labeouf for their video “Haunted Love,” the band decided to incorporate additional members and focus on a more live-driven, organic sound.
The lead single “Calm Me Down” is the direct result of the union between a gritty, pulsing live presence and the glossy synth-pop heard on the band’s 2012 single “Golden”.
The six song EP is a dynamic collection of the band’s live sound, incorporating vicious arpeggiated rhythms and bombastic live drums. While pop elements can be found in songs like “In The City” and “Calm Me Down,” the EP seeks to pierce the glassy synth-pop surface with tracks like “Come Back” and “Destroyer.”

PETER CASE TRAVERSES THE COUNTRY
PETER CASE, singer/songwriter/musician/author/troubadour, is taking his guitar and heading back to the road in support of his critically acclaimed, newly released HWY 62 on Omnivore Recordings.
Of the album, Uncut notes: “Road music deluxe: powerpop guru revisits the populist heart of American music…Acoustic 12-string, with subtle keyboard and slide-guitar textures, sets the backdrop. The songwriting, meanwhile, is uniformly devastating—poignant, perceptive, poetic. ‘New Mexico,’ conjuring the open road, and ‘The Long Good Time,’ a breathtakingly personal reminiscence, are stunning…and ‘Pelican Bay,’ aiming at the jugular of the US prison-industrial complex, are brilliantly barbed political narratives.”
