New York two-piece BEAU today release the video for their newest single ‘Animal Kingdom’ from their hotly anticipated debut album ‘That Thing Reality’, out via Kitsuné/Sony Red on March 11th 2016 and available instantly with every album pre-order.
The video, directed by Matthew Charof and produced by Kiss and Kill, was shot in Los Angeles at Franklin Canyon Park and shows the girls crafting their own world and home within the natural setting.
The song which the band say is about “not being able to match up to the untouchable ways of the animal kingdom” states in the lyrics that “in an attempt to overthrow the animal kingdom, we ran out of breath because we don’t have wings” – an apt summary of mankind’s tumultuous relationship with the animal kingdom and mother nature. Something the girls believe it’d be “better to be a part of than to fight.”
