HUDSON MOHAWKE SHARES NEW VIDEO FOR “INDIAN STEPS FT. ANTONY”
In crafting the hauntingly gorgeous track “Indian Steps” off his sophomore album Lantern, Hudson Mohawke found in Antony a perfect and fragile collaboration. The song has now received an equally moving film courtesy of director Daniel Sannwald, made in partnership with i-D Magazine, who cites inspiration from Rodin’s The Kiss. “For the video I recreate that sculpture with two elderly bodies,” explains Daniel. “It was very touching and moving to see two ageing bodies in such an intimate way. I wanted to use them as a symbol of time but also to capture the beauty of such vulnerability.” “I strongly believe that every deep love has its own place and space and therefore lives on forever.”
