WHAT MOON THINGS “QUIT”

Since the release of What Moon Things’ self-titled debut album, which Pitchfork heralded as a collection of “anti-romantic horror stories [that] find a band who’s fanged, emaciated and out for blood,” the NYC-by-way-of-New Paltz duo signed to Grand Jury Music, toured relentlessly (including dates at this year’s SXSW Festival and CMJ Music Marathon) and were recently named Best New Band of 2015 by Village Voice. Currently mixing and mastering their forthcoming second album due in 2016 on Grand Jury Music, multi-instrumentalists John Morisi (vocals / drums) and Jake Harms (vocals / guitar) have finished a new EP titled ‘Space Jams’: six experimental new songs, or “Z-sides,” from the recording sessions that won’t appear on the new album and are unlike anything else the band has ever created.
