HEMMIT VIDEO PREMIERE “BROHEMOTH”
Portland, Oregon garage rock/power pop duo Hemmit kicks off the release of their fourth album “Straight Outta Nowhere” with a global lip-sync video for “Brohemoth”, the album’s first single. The ambitious video was a co-creation of fans, dancers, models and performers from around the world who submitted footage of themselves lip-syncing and rocking out to the song.

Kembe X is the latest act rising from Chicago’s new wave of hip hop. The 21 year-old rapper just released his latest track, “Buried Alive,” produced by The Antydote.
The young emcee first started writing songs at 14 years-old and transitioned to the hip hop scene in 2010. He released his first mixtape, Self Rule in 2011 and then his self-titled EP Kembe X, in partnership with Scion AV. Kembe is currently collaborating with producers, Hippe Sabotage, Plu20 Nash and Willie B.
CIAN NUGENT NEW SINGLE
Night Fiction is Cian Nugent’s third album but his first taking on the role of singer-songwriter. Where his previous two albums: 2013’s Born With The Caul and 2011’s Doubles saw him exploring extended guitar-based instrumentals with his band, The Cosmos, here he has reigned things in and focused his songwriting skills. Guitar fans, do not fear, there is still plenty of soloing and fingerpicking here. With 7 songs both solo and with his band, this album amalgamates everything Cian has done up to this point and reveals a more broad palate of influences, including The Velvet Underground, Richard Thompson, Television, Neil Young, John Lennon, Fred Neil, etc.

BANKS “BETTER”
“Better” is the first song BANKS has shared with listeners since her 2014 full-length debut album, Goddess [Harvest]. Though she was featured on songs with Chet Faker (“1998”) and with Tala (“Wolfpack”), “Better” is all BANKS.
This week BANKS also hits the road with The Weeknd on his “The Madness” Tour, coming full circle to rejoin Abel and the XO crew that she began touring with upon the release of Goddess.
NEM SHARIF “POWER LEVEL”
After taking a hiatus, Nem Sharif returns with a 808-heavy record, “Power Level.” An ode to the gold-digging women who have misread him. While using DBZ references, Nem makes it clear that he’s not the type to be finessed after sexual encounters over this Fractious Frank produced record.

SPACE VIDEO “STRANGE WORLD”
Space are back with a new single ‘Strange World’. The band began their extensive UK tour of the same name in late October which sees them on the road until mid-December. The release a new album follows on February 22nd 2016 to coincide with an Irish and European tour.
‘Strange World’ combines Space’s signature sound with a Mariachi vibe, creating a record that could serve as the soundtrack to a David Lynch film. This is Space at their finest, a record set to delight their army of fans as well as winning many more.

Run Over Dogs are a four-piece rock band from Budapest, formed in 2012. The band’s musical output is mainly based around the desert rock genre, with some psychedelic, post punk influences.

Hailing from Newcastle, Australia Skinny & Awkward can be best described as an alternate folk piece comprised of singer/songwriter Kristian Dooley who has been composing songs since he was 14. Originally drawing from punk rock Kristian moved to different styles as influences grew and progressed into new aspirations. This mainly consisted of either folk or alternative/psychedelic rock leading to a current musical style which incorporates twangy melodic riffs over acoustic progressions. Playing relatively small gigs and open mics around Newcastle Skinny & Awkward has directed focus towards songwriting; preferring to work on writing and recording as many songs as possible.

Taylor Gang Ent. rapper Chevy Woods and his team hit Miami with singer/sonwriter Rico Love for “Wit Me,” which debuted via WorldStarHipHop. BIG KRIT NEW SINGLE
RBC Records has obtained the masters to vintage Big K.R.I.T. tracks which shows his brilliance early on and want to share it with the world. The forthcoming release ALL MY LIFE, offers fans an inside look into RBC’s vaults with previously unreleased tracks that highlight the genius of Big K.R.I.T.’s indie roots, which ultimately led to his very much now established career. “Here We Go” is the follow up track to “Playa” and both are available for download on iTunes.
Although not a “new” album, all of the material on ALL MY LIFE is previously unreleased and recorded circa 2005.

“CALIFORNIA BUDS”
Boston duo Blakheart Broadway follow up their controversial “Losing Control” ft. Killer Mike video this week with “California Buds”, a considerably more mellow offering albeit no less strange. Considering the inspiration for the song however it isn’t hard to imagine the story boarding sessions in which these illustrations are crafted. In fact, according to Nikki Broadway, this scene depicts a typical Blakheart Broadway recording session. This half of production team The Beat Bullies produced the track in tandem with Billion Beats. The visuals can again be attributed to Sev One. Suffice it to say, these guys like bunnies.

AVENGED SEVENFOLD BRING ON NEW DRUMMER
Avenged Sevenfold have announced that drummer Brooks Wackerman has joined the band. Hailing from Long Beach, Calif., Wackerman was the main drummer for Bad Religion for more than 15 years and also played with Tenacious D for the last 10 years. He has also played with blink-182, Mass Mental with Metallica’s Robert Trujillo, funk metal supergroup Infectious Grooves, and Korn. Wackerman has known the members of Avenged Sevenfold since meeting them on the Warped Tour in 2004.

THE VEILS SIGN TO NETTWERK RECORDS
Nettwerk Records is pleased to announce the signing of The Veils, a London-based band fronted by lead singer and songwriter Finn Andrews.
The Veils just finished recording the first batch of songs at Konk Studio in London, which is owned by Ray Davies of The Kinks. The album reunites the band with producers Adam ‘Atom’ Greenspan and Nick Launay who were behind the critically acclaimed Nux Vomica. Greenspan and Launay have also worked together on projects including Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Arcade Fire, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Band Of Skulls and many others. In addition, Andrews and El-P (from Run The Jewels) met up in Los Angeles and Porto, Portugal to collaborate on a few tracks that will appear on the forthcoming album.
