Emii’s new Christmas release “I Saw Momma Kissing Santa Claus” is part POP, a little Rock, and even includes a healthy helping of Southern Gospel. And with some clever surprises in the revamped lyrics it is playfully fun. It is surely unlike any Christmas song cover you have ever heard.
Emii is currently on a dozen-city radio tour promoting her latest single “Lover’s Cross”, written by Jim Croce. In just a few weeks on the charts it has reached #38 on the Mediabase A/C chart, and moved up to #2 on the Independent Artists most active new releases. With a voice often likened to Christina Aguilera, her most recent single “Heart in a Box” hit #7 on Billboard’s Hot Singles Sales Chart.
