NEW SINGLE BY DIRTY DIANA

Burning flames of enslaved emotions started twisting and turning, causing a whirlwind in his mind. The beat came gushing out, spilling over all his thoughts and desires. Nothing was left but the feeling of a distant past that seemed so near that he could almost touch it. The taste came from the sound resonating within his living room. Resonating within himself. Madness it was. And yet in all his madness, he has managed to discern the transcendental voice of a long forgotten memory. Someone was calling form within his living room. From within him! Dirty Diana echoed…

SIM HUTCHINS NEW SINGLE

Sim Hutchins, a producer and video artist from North West Essex UK, releases his debut album ’I Enjoy To Sweep A Room’.

Though it stylistically references techno, IDM and ambient-drone, the album could be said to be genre-blind, avoiding any easy classification. It takes an outsider approach to composition, channeling the uncompromising visionistic electronics of Actress, the disintegrating drones of William Basinksi, the cosmic synthwork of Hieroglyphic Being and Jandek’s propensity for atonal experimentalism. ‘I Enjoy To Sweep A Room’ is firmly the work of an artist operating on the peripheries of the medium.

EMILIE & OGDEN’S “WHAT HAPPENED” VIDEO PREMIERES AT POPULAR.TV

The video for “What Happened,” the latest track from up and coming Montreal act Emilie & Ogden, is premiering today at Popular.TV. The song is off Emilie & Ogden’s debut LP 10 000. Of the inspiration for the video, director Pierre-Alexandre Girard of DTO Films explains, “The music video for “What Happened” presents a photographic concept. My intention was to present a hyper-realistic world, fixed in a place so clean it is disturbing. A destabilizing ambiance, uncomfortable in its immobility. The sequence of paintings, as well as their evolution etches Emilie in an eloquent, ultra tangible realism.”
