TITS OF CLAY ‘BLANK GENERATION’ ON OUT.COM
Tits of Clay are the rocking “Angry Inch” from the gender-bending Tony Award winning musical, ‘Hedwig and the Angry Inch’. Their irrepressible 5-track debut EP ‘Belasco’ (a tribute to David Belasco, the theatrical producer, impresario, director, playwright and founder of the Belasco Theatre, where ‘Hedwig’ is staged), is a searing nod to their collective punk and alternative music roots done with swagger, masterful instrumentation, wit, fun, melody, angst and a little filth. The set includes inspired covers of iconic songs by Devo (“Uncontrollable Urge”), Wreckless Eric (“Whole Wide World”), Richard Hell (“Blank Generation”), Lou Reed (“Satellite of Love’) and Bob Dylan (“I’ll Keep It With Mine”), featuring Michael C. Hall (of ‘Six Feet Under’, ‘Dexter’ and ‘Hedwig’ fame) on vocals. The EP will be released worldwide, on all digital platforms, as well as CD and limited edition, numbered green 10” vinyl, on September 11th via Tits of Clay/KID Recordings.

ASTRONAUT, ETC NEW SINGLE
In another universe, the path of Astronauts, etc.’s Anthony Ferraro would have led him to become a classical musician — the culmination of nearly two decades of focused training. But as adventures go, each brings its own trials and it is the explorer’s duty to adapt.
It was while studying music at the University of California, Berkeley, that Anthony’s arthritis, diagnosed in childhood, began to affect his hands. No longer able to play etudes or concertos with the vigor they demanded, he dropped out of school and began to search for a new focus.

EVERYTHING EVERYTHING REMIX KIMBERLY ANNE’S ‘BURY IT THERE’
Bury It There is the new single from Kimberly Anne, available digitally from today and impacting October 5th on Polydor. Written by Kimberly Anne and produced by Charlie Hugall (Florence & The Machine, Ed Sheeran, Lucy Rose) and Mark Crew (Bastille), the subtly anthemic Bury It There is built on an insistent guitar riff and staccato percussion, with Kimberly Anne’s voice providing the song’s melodic drive. The quietly devastating lyrics are “about the realisation that you never belonged somewhere you desperately thought you wanted to,” says Kimberly Anne. As she sings the chorus’s refrain “I must be built of different stuff than what your love is made of” the honesty of her delivery is palpable.

PINS NEW VIDEO ‘DAZED BY YOU’
Still on the heels of their wildly successful sophomore LP Wild Nights, PINS have shared their video for ‘Dazed By You’ on PAPER. True to the Manchester band’s aesthetic, the video pairs their hazy sonic ruminations with antiquated Super 8 footage of a journey across America interjected with chalk-like drawings. In the end it’s a true testament to PINS: style, playful nostalgia and a sense of adventure.
