Los Angeles duo Little Brutes’ new song, “Make Our Own Way”, will be the theme music for the new NBC series, “One Big Happy”, starring Elisha Cuthbert. The comedy will premiere March 17, 2015. In conjunction with the announcement, Little Brutes have made the track available for streaming via Soundcloud today. “Make Our Own Way” is featured on the duo’s upcoming new EP, Desire, which arrives January 13.
Rachael Cantu and Harlan Silverman, both accomplished artists in their own right, have been writing material as Little Brutes since 2012, creating effervescent electro-pop songs centered around Cantu’s lush vocals. As Little Brutes, Cantu and Silverman have written a number of songs featured on television and in film, with 2014 singles, “We Must Pay”, featured on Rizzoli & Isles, and “Do It All Again” in the opening credits of the feature film, Mutual Friends.
