From the tender age of seven RUSSO has had a passion for music. Since her dreamy beginnings singing Brigitte Bardot and Edith Piaf in burlesque bars around Sydney, RUSSO has travelled far and wide, collaborating with hip-hop producers and supporting acts such as ‘Dune and Kira Puru and the Bruise’.
Having performed at various venues throughout Sydney, RUSSO is ready and eager to bring her defined sound to a wider audience.
Lyrically, Something Else is inspired by the feeling of longing for something else, another love. Ben (Nebz) provided RUSSO with a beat and the chorus is inspired by pop kings Michael Jackson & Prince.
