WATCH THE TRAVELLING BAND’S VIDEO FOR LEAD SINGLE

“The song was inspired after watching Harold and Maude, a beautiful story of two people who’s circumstances collide while they are travelling in opposite directions in life. The films imagery infiltrated a particular dream with a faceless man tormenting my soul. I’d always loved the metaphor ‘like passing ships in the night’, and we wanted the video to reflect these concepts of missed connections, unfulfilled love, happenstance and the chaotic sliding doors of the subconscious dream world.” – The Travelling Band

MARTIAL CANTEREL STREAM A TRACK VIA SELF-TITLED

Since his first live performances in 2002, Sean McBride, aka Martial Canterel (who also performs as half of the duo Xeno & Oaklander), has crafted his electronic sound in a peculiar intersection between avant-garde and pop. Merging the influences of the first wave of relatively unknown minimal electronic bands in northern Europe, and seminal industrial noise bands such as Throbbing Gristle and SPK, with the smoothly stylish songcraft of early British New Wave, Martial Canterel records and performs using analogue synthesizers, sequencers and drum machines exclusively, molding electricity to fix the action of music creation in substance.

SAGE TITLE TRACK “IN BETWEEN” PREMIERES ON CONSEQUENCE OF SOUND

Ambroise Willaume knows himself well. In these few words, he sums up what seems to be the exceptional force behind his career to date: a young man constantly looking for the fresh and original, a rejection of all that is repetitive. Creating the group Revolver, after years of singing in classical choirs, he discovered the unequivocal pop universe. It was during the last Revolver tour in Australia that Willaume’s studio was broken into. He lost all his guitars. He saw the event as an omen, signifying the beginning of a new chapter. Willaume is now under the influence of the piano, a new step in the process of song-writing.

DREAM STRETCHER “COLORS”

Los Angeles based electronic duo, Dream Stretcher, creates ambient bass-driven beats mixed with rich vocals and ethereal harmonies bringing dream pop and chillwave together for a unique sound. Classically-trained drummer/pianist, Clinton Van Arnam and LA singer/songwriter, Melanie deJesus, formed Dream Stretcher in the fall of 2012 only a short time after Clinton left his hometown in New Mexico for the more diverse landscape of the LA music scene. A chance meeting brought the two together after discovering a mutual affinity for a wide range of influences from Beach House, Nicolas Jaar, and Sigur Ros to more undiscovered chillwave producers such as Evenings, MMOTHS, and Balam Acab as well as classical and contemporary pianists; all of which are sources of inspiration for them as they continue to write and evolve.
