NEW ALBUM BY GHOSTRAIN
Ghostrain’s album, “Eulogy for the Living” is their second and first on the Backyard Records label. Ghostrain formed in the late 80’s and for two years toured across the southeast in a beat up Ford van. In 1989 Ghostrain recorded a six song demo at John Keane’s studio in Athens, GA famous for recording REM, Widespread Panic, and Cowboy Junkies. In 2011, thanks to social media Ghostrain reconnected. Original members, John King and Glen Madison discovered they happened to live 5 minutes apart and decided to reform Ghostrain with Loren Haefer on bass and Ed Mascali on drums. Later that year they recorded and released their first full length album titled “Ghostrain” and began playing live in the Atlanta area and soon developed a small but loyal following.

VIMEO ORIGINAL SERIES ‘HIGH MAINTENANCE’
Vimeo announced today that it’s set to premiere a new round of episodes of married couple Katja Blichfeld and Ben Sinclair’s heralded series High Maintenance on November 11th, 2014. Three new episodes will be available on the 11th, followed by another set of three in early 2015.
The series marks Vimeo’s first foray into original programming with the six episodes launching exclusively on Vimeo On Demand. High Maintenance previously released thirteen episodes, to the acclaim of The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Guardian, The New York Observer and Entertainment Weekly, among others.

I directed, shot, and edited the video for a photography class I took at a community college in Lake Merritt months after moving to Northern California.”

Classic rock supergroup, The Dead Daisies, are preparing for their first live performance on the high seas, joining the KISS Kruise IV this fall for the annual fan getaway, announced today. BROOKLYN QUARTET ICEWATER EP PREMIERING ON ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY
Brooklyn four-piece Icewater was formed in 2010 by Michael Rosen, Malcolm Perkins and Grant Martin. Martin had just moved to New York from San Francisco, bringing with him the desire to start a band, and for that band to be called Icewater. The three friends started out in Rosen’s bedroom – two acoustic guitars, a signature Wurlitzer, and a handful of original country songs.
