QUENTIN REDDY DEBUT ALBUM OUT NOW

Country Music Television Star Quentin Reddy has found a Diamond in the Rough with the release of his debut album.

This mohawked music man wrote his first song at age seven and taught himself guitar by age nine. Primed for the stage landing an enviable top two slot on the popular CMT singing competition series ‘Big In A Small Town’ in 2012, Quentin Reddy is up to the challenge of becoming a country music star. Now based in Alberta, his music has earned him nominations for Male Vocalist and Fan’s Choice at both the 2012 and 2013 Academy Country Music Awards. Quentin has opened for acts such as Dallas Smith and Chad Brownlee on the Boys of Fall Tour, as well as Tara Oram, Dean Brody, Julian Austin and April Wine. He has co-written with Canadian and Nashville artists. His first two singles, “Rest For My Body” and “Beautiful Crazy Life” spent 15 weeks on the Canadian country charts and both aired on CMT Canada

BOSTON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA WELCOMES ANDRIS NELSONS TO BOSTON

On Saturday, September 27, at 8 p.m., the Boston Symphony Orchestra will shine a welcoming spotlight on Andris Nelsons as he makes his highly anticipated debut as BSO Music Director leading a gala program filled with works and guest artists that have inspired his musical life. When Mr. Nelsons takes on the title of BSO Music Director on September 27, at age 35, he will be the youngest conductor to hold that title with the orchestra in over 100 years. The fifteenth music director since the Boston Symphony Orchestra’s founding in 1881, Mr. Nelsons is also the first Latvian-born conductor to assume the post.

SHADY RECORDS SET TO RELEASE ‘SHADYXV’

Eminem and Shady Records will celebrate the label’s 15th anniversary with its fifteenth release: ShadyXV, a two-CD compilation featuring an album of the label’s greatest hits, including classics such as 50 Cent’s “In Da Club” and Eminem’s “Lose Yourself” plus an album of new material from Eminem, Slaughterhouse, Bad Meets Evil, D-12 and Yelawolf as well as special guest-artist collaborations.
