After releasing a 12″ on Carpark Records and two singles for Jiaolong Records, Les Sins is dusting off his dancing shoes to release his debut studio album, Michael, coming on November 4th. Taking inspiration from cartoons and movie soundtracks, Les Sins, the dance project of Chaz Bundick, blends familiar dance and pop sounds with catchy, repetitive vocal hooks, beats and synths influenced by house, techno, and French electronic, all pulled together with a classic ’90s hip-hop production style that Bundick imagines being the perfect music for the neon-lit, fast paced Ginza district in Tokyo.

Earlier this month, Australian singer-songwriter Stu Larsen joined friend and label-mate Mike Rosenberg (aka Passenger) on the road for his sold out North American tour. Next month, Larsen will travel across North America for a headline tour that begins in Vancouver, BC and ends in Atlanta, GA.

Rain Plans was produced by Nash, recorded and mixed by Grammy Award-winning engineer Ted Young (Sonic Youth, Kurt Vile) and inspired by Nash’s new home of Dripping Springs, TX which helped evolve the tone of his songwriting. Platinum selling pop rockers American Hi-Fi are back and will release ‘Blood & Lemonade’, their first album in 5 years, on September 9 via Rude Records. ANTHRAX’S CHARLIE BENANTE TAKES THE ALS ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE
Last night, when Anthrax headlined the Rock Al Parquet 2014 Festival in Bogota, Colombia, the band’s drummer Charlie Benate took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge – in front of more than 140,000 screaming fans. Mike Portnoy had challenged Charlie, and he accepted, in large part because Mike Wright, the father of his friend Brandon Wright, has had ALS for 10 years – so this was personal.

BRYAN ADAMS REVISITS HIS MUSICAL ROOTS ON NEW ALBUM
Iconic multi-platinum recording-artist Bryan Adams is set to release his first studio album in more than six years with Tracks Of My Years (Verve Records), a diverse collection of time honoured classics from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s, announced today. Releasing September 30, 2014 in the US and Canada (October 6 in Europe and other territories), Tracks Of My Years is co-produced by Adams, David Foster and Bob Rock, and includes ten cover songs featuring a wide range of influential musical styles, from Chuck Berry’s “Rock & Roll Music,” Ray Charles’ “I Can’t Stop Loving You” to the Beatles’ “Any Time At All.” The collection also includes a brand new track, “She Knows Me” co-written with his long-time writing partner Jim Vallance.
