To Him That Wills The Way is Walking Bicycles’ first album since 2009’s GO?, and recounts the 3-year incarceration of Julius Moriarty (guitar) and the separation from his partner, Walking Bicycles’ vocalist Jocelyn Summers.
The narrative is not a precautionary tale; it is an acquiescent chronicle of redemption garnered through strength and experience, describing not the rise and fall but the fall and rise.

NEW SINGLE BY SOULS OF MISCHIEF
The track “All You Got Is Your Word” falls in the first half of the storyline of the concept album. Set in 1994, There Is Only Now reads like a audio-only blaxploitation film with drama, suspense, and plot twists involving strong character roles played by Busta Rhymes, Ali Shaheed Muhammad, Snoop Dogg, William Hart of The Delfonics, Scarub from Living Legends, and all four members of Souls of Mischief, who play themselves. The plot of the entire album is based on a violent near-death experience the Souls of Mischief actually encountered in San Francisco in 1994. “All You Got Is Your Word” comes into play during a significant part of the plot which involves a kidnapping of a Souls member and takes place during a flashback to a show they did at the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC. The message of the song is simple: Regardless of your successes, failures, trials and tribulations, all you have is your word. “So make it something you can stand behind,” explains Tajai.

NEW SINGLE BY SUN GLITTERS
Sun Glitters returns with the four-track EP, Fading Days. “Tell Me, Why You” starts things off with pulsating synths and pitch-shifted vocals working together to create a dream-like haze. “I Tear You Apart” uses side-chain interplay between kick, snare and bass to throw an off-kilter stop-and-go motion against a pitched vocal that is both sweet and unsettling. The title track, “Fading Days” highlights the shoegaze influences in Sun Glitters productions as the track engulfs the listener in a bed of fuzz. “Here It Comes” closes the EP with a wash of buzzing synths and etherial pads. Fading Days is the latest in a string of remarkably consistent releases from Sun Gltters. This EP was also included as the bonus tracks for the Japanese release of the LP, Scattered Into Light.

CELESTIAL SHORE SHARE FIRST TRACK “GLORIA”
Celestial Shore’s second album, Enter Ghost, is a directive, a confession, and a confrontation. It’s the reflection of its makers – Sam Owens, Greg Albert, and Max Almario – and the follow-up to 10x, their 2013 debut. It’s a rock record, and one with the power to time travel with its instruments intact: the electric guitar, the electric bass, and the drum kit. This musical skeleton is sentient. It rattled and rolled us here only sixty years ago. We’ve danced with it. We’ve dissected it. Celestial Shore’s rock, sometimes appended with words like “art” and “angular” (words that could describe all music), has actually wiggled every which way since birth. It starts and stops with both intention and abandon.
