MICHAEL JACKSON TRIBUTE FESTIVAL
Katherine Jackson is proud to announce The 5th Annual Michael Jackson “King of Pop” Tribute Festival of the Arts. This celebration will take place in Gary, Indiana on August 28th, 29th and 30th 2014 at 2300 Jackson St; the birth home of Michael Jackson, the festival village will encompass the entire Roosevelt high school campus.
This year’s tribute festival is different from previous years. The theme is “Art for Life” and we will be showcasing undiscovered talent; in a celebration of the Jackson 5 breakout success from their humble beginnings in Gary.

O.A.R. ON THE TODAY SHOW
Rock band O.A.R. is having quite a month. June isn’t even half over and O.A.R has already been the house band for the entire hour on the “Today Show with Kathie Lee & Hoda” on June 3rd including a performance of their single “Peace” accompanied by the Mt. Carmel-Holy Rosary School of East Harlem. Later that week, the band visited with the famed Staten Island elementary school chorus at PS 22 in a rendition of “Peace.” The single is a bonafide hit at HAC and Triple A radio charts and they have a massive national concert tour kicking off this Thursday, June 12th with Phillip Phillips. To cap off an incredible month, the band’s new album, The Rockville LP, which is being heralded as O.A.R.’s best work in years, is available today.

SARAH JAFFE TOUR WITH THE POLYPHONIC SPREE
A few short weeks ago, 28-year-old Texas native Sarah Jaffe announced the August 19th release of her third full-length studio album – Don’t Disconnect – via Kirtland Records. On the heels of that news, Jaffe is announcing summer tour dates with choral symphonic rock band The Polyphonic Spree. The high profile main support slot is just one of many for Jaffe who has previously shared the stage with Chelsea Wolfe, Norah Jones, Lou Barlow, Blitzen Trapper, New Multitudes, David Gray and Midlake among others. All confirmed dates with The Polyphonic Spree are west of the Mississippi with fall US tour plans in the works that has Jaffe visiting the Midwest and East Coast.
