THE JEZABELS USA TOUR
This weekend, The Jezabels kicked off the North American leg of their worldwide tour in support of their sophomore album The Brink. In anticipation, fans have begun to sell out dates with NYC’s Bowery Ballroom and San Francisco’s Rickshaw Stop being the first to sell out with many others following close behind. For six years, Kendall Schmidt starred on Nickelodeon’s top-rated show “Big Time Rush,” but earlier this year, he earned solo recognition with the release of his band Heffron Drive’s first single “Parallel.” As “Parallel” continues to climb the charts and garner radio success, Schmidt has been asked to play PBS’ “A Capitol Fourth,” America’s Independence Day Celebration.

The Parrots are a fresh-from-college young garage-surf trio from Madrid that’s causing a commotion in the Spanish scene this year. Last summer they recorded two tracks for a 7″ (released via cult indie label from Madrid, Sonido Muchacho) with Aaron Bastinelli in Amsterdam, at Converse’s Rubber Tracks Studios.
