THE JANOSKIANS JOIN FORCES WITH LIONSGATE® FOR FEATURE FILM
With pandemonium and fanfare growing exponentially worldwide, THE JANOSKIANS have just joined forces with LIONSGATE® for the development and future release of a feature length film based on their one-of-a-kind brand of “social disturbance comedy”.
The film, helmed by Danny Lee [Road to Brooklyn, Detroit Rubber] and penned by comedian Dan Ahdoot [Super Fun Night, Your Pretty Face Is Going to Hell, Kickin’ It], will encompass a partially-scripted comedy packed with stunts, public pranks, wish-fulfillment and hilarity as we follow the Janoskians adjusting to life in Los Angeles and vowing to throw the most epic party of all time.
The pop punk mischief makers’ manager Jeremy Skaller and Awesomeness TV/Varsity Pictures’ Brian Robbins [Smallville, One Tree Hill, Varsity Blues] serve as producers. The big screen might never be the same after THE JANOSKIANS are done.

WIRE: OFFICER! SHARES “ELEPHANT FLOWERS”
Blackest Ever Black presents to you Dead Unique, an album by Officer! recorded in 1995 but – outrageously, inexplicably – never before released into the public domain. This then is not a reissue or a revival; it’s a new record that just happens to have been maturing in the cask for, oh, a little shy of 20 years. It also happens to be a lost classic of English art-rock, and the crowning achievement in the career of its mercurial creator, Mick Hobbs.

With this record he pursued a far more complex sound than on prior releases and is responsible for the majority of the instrumentation. SPIN is premiering “All The Time,” the first pre-release track from the album. With this track, SPIN claims “Bahamas distills his brand of breezy soul…with summer-ready falsetto harmonies that float over a distorted riff, before ending with a quick solo, a move that reminds this laidback Canuck can shred.”

WIRE: WE ARE TEMPORARY “MACHINE LOVE”
We Are Temporary, the wired and weird brainchild of Brooklyn’s Mark Roberts, is as much the result of a musical obsession as a philosophical one. Drawing from influences in goth, darkwave, EDM, ambient, and post-rock, his music oscillates between musical violence and frailty, lyrical defensiveness and vitriol, bursts of optimism and crushing nihilism.
