Blackened extreme metallers Hoth have released their sophomore full-length album, Oathbreaker, via Epicurus Records. The 8-song, 55-minute opus is available to stream and purchase in digipak CD or download format via their bandcamp page.
The Seattle-based duo, consisting of David Dees and Eric Peters, formed in 2011 and released their debut album Infinite Darkness, the following year. More than just a follow-up to it’s precursor, Oathbreaker is the work of a matured band possessing the rare ability to fully realize an artistic vision.

STRAIGHT NO CHASER ANNOUNCES “THE HAPPY HOUR TOUR”
Atlantic Records recording group Straight No Chaser has announced a massive 58-city, 66-show tour, dubbed “The Happy Hour Tour.” Tour gets underway October 14th at the Rabobank Theater in Bakersfield, California and then travels through to an eagerly anticipated New Year’s Eve finale at San Diego’s San Diego Civic Theatre on December 31st (see attached itinerary). Brushfire Records is set to release the third full-length album from Afie Jurvanen, who performs as Bahamas, on August 19. The new release, Bahamas Is Afie, is the first self-produced album from the Ontario-based musician. With this record he pursued a far more complex sound than on prior releases and is responsible for the majority of the instrumentation. The album follows 2011’s Barchords, which was praised for being “a reserved yet melodically rewarding exploration of relationships and heartache” by The New Yorker.
