JIMMY PAGE REMASTERS FIRST 3 LED ZEPELLIN ALBUMS
John Bonham, John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page and Robert Plant came together in 1968 as Led Zeppelin. Over the next decade, the band would become one of the most influential, innovative and successful groups in modern music, selling more than 300 million albums worldwide. Their songs are some of the most celebrated in rock ‘n’ roll history that, to this day, resonate with fans young and old around the globe. Still, no matter how many times you may have listened to their music, you’ve never heard Led Zeppelin like this before.
With the June 3 release of deluxe editions of Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin II, and Led Zeppelin III , the band will launch an extensive reissue program of all nine of its studio albums in chronological order, each remastered by guitarist and producer Jimmy Page. Led Zeppelin will also open its vaults to share dozens of unheard studio and live recordings, with each album featuring a second disc of companion audio comprised entirely of unreleased music related to that album.

WIRE: INDIE SHUFFLE PREMIERES DEBUT SONG “BROTHER BLUE” FROM BEST REVENGE
After almost 15 years of friendship, guitarist, songwriter and producer Keaton Simons (Gnarls Barkley, Snoop Dogg, Tre Hardson of The Pharcyde) and experimental drummer, songwriter and producer Deantoni Parks (The Mars Volta, Bosnian Rainbows, T-Bone Burnett, John Cale of The Velvet Underground) have finally come together to form their newest project, Best Revenge. Today, Indie Shuffle premieres “Brother Blue,” the first recorded song from the duo’s project: http://www.indieshuffle.com/best-revenge-brother-blue.
“Brother Blue” kicks off with the peculiar menace of a 80s film score. It soon devolves into a sneering rockabilly track, lacerating the listener with both a swaggering guitar and bold, vocal machismo. The lyrics convey wisdom through hurt, and Parks’ drums throb with the pulse of reckoning. This is an accessible song with an authentic blues rock mentality… You don’t hear a new track like this often. — INDIE SHUFFLE

WIRE: MESA RITUAL ANNOUNCE NEW LP + NEW SINGLE
Formed in New Mexico in 2009, Mesa Ritual is the duo of William Fowler Collins and Raven Chacon. In their five year existence they have created a concise, extremely focused and inimitable body of work consisting of one EP, and this, their first full length album. Considering the rarified nature of their activities, the resultant sounds would suggest a process of patient sonic reductionism, whereby only the most essential elements are allowed to remain in the completed works. These skeletal compositions expose a core that is both vibrant and severe. Much like the environment from which they originated, the sounds conjured by Mesa Ritual on their debut full length are simultaneously alluring and forbidding.

ALBIN MEYERS ‘GANESHA’ EP ON YOUTUBE
Albin Myers returns with the Ganesha EP, out now on Dim Mak Records, a follow-up to his Hells Bells EP. The rising Swede draws inspiration from his excursions through India and all his touring through the vast subcontinent. Between two new tunes, title track “Ganesha” and “Tabla,” staples of Hindustani classical music are highlighted from mystifying vocal lines, sexy sitars, and the swift rhythmic playing of Tablas. He then combines it all via his electro expertise. The Ganesha EP features an additional house remix of the title track “Ganesha” from producer Tiger Stripes as well as a drum ‘n’ bass version.
