Spottiswoode & His Enemies release their sixth studio recording, English Dream on April 15, 2014 via Old Soul Records. Produced by Riley McMahon and recorded in Brooklyn at The Bunker and New Warsaw Studio, the album is a haunting departure for the New York septet, as the band returns with a beautiful and much more atmospheric set than their usual poppy, satirical works. English Dream has hints of The National and Nick Cave and the first single is “No Time For Love”, a piano led number delivered as a duo harmony by Spottiswoode and Kevin Cordt that has a sixties retro vibe both in melody and sentiment. You can stream and share the single now and it will be available digitally for purchase on April 1st.
Spottiswoode & His Enemies are known for their live performances and are proud to announce the first round of dates behind the new album, hitting NYC, DC, Charlotte, Boston, Portland and Philadelphia with stops in between.
