For their latest single “It Goes Down,” which premieres on Earmilk, Booty Fade combines local rapper Tum Tum’s regional syrupy hit “Caprice Musik” with a 1990 hit from Tejano artist Michael Salgado. The result features a uniquely cohesive blend of snaps, hi hats, Latin-flavored accordion stabs, and syncopated volleys of Southern “aye’s!” with Tejano gritos. Aw ready!
