David Kanaga is pleased to share a new video for the tracks “Space Ox && Peking Duck”. Andrew Strasser, director of the video, has said that the video is “all about the size of the human brain. We are easily distracted and capable of confusing real things with unreal things. Even when we are conscious of this confusion, we willfully engage in a two dimensional experience. I address the nostalgic melodies in David’s music by using recreational imagery and symbolism to distract the viewer and maintain a peace. For me, this connects to the gaming origin of this music and references older forms of games and recreation.”
