Los Angeles-based trio The Ceremonies will be featured as MTV’s new Artist to Watch starting today. The two week campaign will feature exclusive interviews and performances only seen on MTV and mtv.com. That honor follows last week’s video premiere of “Land of Gathering,” the first single from The Ceremonies’ self-titled debut EP. The Ceremonies EP will be released tomorrow via Atom Factory Music/Capitol Records. The 5-track EP merges edgy, New Wave-inspired alt-rock with melody-powered pop that’s both lush and endlessly catchy.
