Starting at 12:00 p.m., Fuse and Big Freedia will take over Herald Square at 34th Street and 6th Avenue to conduct the largest twerking session to ever take place, with over 250 dancers hitting the floor and shaking their booties for two consecutive minutes in the center of Manhattan. GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS will be onsite to document the event and verify the dancer count for its records. Upon welcoming all participants at noon, Big Freedia will take to the stage and perform fan favorite “Excuse” before commencing with the main event. After 120 seconds of non-stop twerk, and a new record-setting achievement in the bag, Big Freedia will perform “Duffy” off her upcoming EP Queen of Bounce to celebrate and close out the afternoon.
