WIRE: NEW VIDEO FROM 10 FT. GANJA PLANT

10 Ft. Ganja Plant shares members with the popular band John Brown’s Body, which fuses reggae, funk, electronic and everything in between. The Plant’s new album, out September 24th, showcases the band’s unique ability to mesh the traditional roots reggae sound with contemporary dub production, creating “modern roots reggae of the highest order”, according to The Wire. Originating in the Northeast, the band employs a loose structure, using guest artists and interchanging members in recordings and live performances.   All lead vocals come from the core members of the Plant this time, with one song coming from Nate Silas Richardson, his first lead vocal since Bass Chalice in 2005. Both reggae connoisseurs and novices alike will not be able to resist the smooth sensations and chill vibes of   Skycatcher.
