Mathai, the Atlanta-based singer will officially release her debut EP “Girl Like Me” on July 4th, 2013. For this EP, she collaborated with Grammy Award Winning recording engineers/ producers Dru Castro (India Arie, Musiq Soulchild) and Pierre Medor (Usher, Brandy, Mary J Blige).
Mathai shared: “Every time I think about the EP I get into little-girl-freak-out mode. It’s been culminating for so long, and in less than a week, it will be hidden no longer. This is a work of art, and every song required a piece of my heart. Couldn’t be happier, couldn’t be more pumped!”
