FunKontrol, the first-ever remix-only record label, celebrated their launch by releasing a July 4th Compilation of summer friendly remixes. The selection features FunKontrol artists like DJ Enferno, Terry Urban, The Melker Project remixing Trinidad James, Bob Marley, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Rick Ross, Neil Diamond among others.
FunKontrol is the brainchild of Scott Melker AKA “The Melker Project.” Utilizing Legitmix, a groundbreaking platform that allows DJs, Producers and Remixers to legally sell sampled content without clearance, FunKontrol has created the first label exclusively for remixed content. Their roster includes a number of world-renowned producers and DJs and is constantly expanding.
