As summertime finally emerges and the world awakens anew, Peals’ debut album Walking Field provides the perfect soundtrack to the long evenings that will soon become our fond memories. In the spirit of summer and all it entails, earlier today Spin premiered a new video for Peals’ “Blue Elvis” directed by acclaimed surf filmmaker George Trimm. The video features excerpts from Trimm’s film Bootleg, which was co-directed by Joel Tudor and features surfing by Harrison Raoch and Yuta Sezutsu. The slow-motion surf footage only serves to amplify the song’s nostalgic atmosphere. Walking Field is out now.
