Black leather, shaky cameras, scrambled pictures and screeching guitars, Young Boys’ video for “High Tide” is an homage to the hallmarks of late 80s Public Access TV. Produced in conjunction with the team over at E.S.P. TV, “The ‘High Tide’ video souds though it was a performance recorded the morning before their debut at CBGBs, opening for Richard Hell, according to Impose Magazine.
Led by David “Legs” McDaniel and Ethan Miller, Young Boys are knee-deep in NY grime and projected through technicolor static, armed with a pair of out-of-tune guitars, a drum machine and a certain, crunchy cohesion.
