Jan St. Werner, half of the groundbreaking electronic music duo Mouse On Mars, will be releasing a solo album entitled Blaze Colour Burn on Thrill Jockey June 11th. It will be the initial release in Werner’s Fiepblatter series, which will give him an outlet for his more experimental and conceptual works. More info on the project is available below. Werner will be performing Fiepblatter works at special performances in Germany throughout the early summer, including a premiere of a new opera entitled Miscontinuum, featuring libretto by Oval’s Markus Popp. Earlier today XLR8R premiered “Feed Opener” from Blaze Colour Burn, which you can stream and download below.
