Hailing from Littlerock, CA and preparing to call Los Angeles their home soon, The Sledge Grits Band fuses a fabulousness of pop-rock flair into their all-original music. Being of Japanese, French, German, Irish, Native American, and African American descent, these gorgeous, multicultural and relatable sisters are unlike anything the industry has ever seen or heard.
Currently featured on NBC affiliate Cozi TV’s “Next Great Family Band,” The Sledge Grits Band sang one of their many original songs, a momentous, uplifting anthem titled “Gonna Be Alright.” This exemplary and celebrated pop-rock song about facing your fears, loving yourself no matter what, and support from family and friends is symbolical of The Sledge Grits Band’s catchy tunes and memorable lyrics. After their performance, judge Samantha Malone said she is “kind of obsessed” with the quartet and insists “The Sledge Grits Band is going places,” while judge Phoenix Stone exclaimed, “Right now, the music industry needs a young female band like this.”
