After a SXSW that resulted in national coverage on NBC Rock Center, Fuse News, and Rolling Stone, Houndmouth have confirmed the June 4 release of their anticipated debut album, ‘From The Hills Below The City’ (Rough Trade). Already confirmed for the Newport Folk Festival, the group’s national headlining tour rolls into April, including shows for Mountain Stage, DC, Philly, and NYC’s Mercury Lounge (4/10) and Rockwood Music Hall (4/11). After a successful run with the Alabama Shakes, Houndmouth added four more shows opening for them in June. Additional US tour dates, including their second European run, will soon be announced.
