The folks behind the Music Video Race are excited to announce the details surrounding this year’s installment, to be held on June 7-9 in the San Francisco Bay Area. Music Video Race pairs 20 of the Bay Area’s most buzzworthy artists with 20 teams of acclaimed local filmmakers to make 20 music videos in one weekend. A week after the chaos of the filmmaking weekend, on June 15th, the videos will be screened at a party and awards show at San Francisco’s Rickshaw Stop. Industry bigwigs like Katie Gillum, Managing Director of the Disposable Film Fest, and Allen Cordell, (dir. of videos for Beach House, Waters, Cloud Nothings) will evaluate the videos, and a panel from Noise Pop will select the Best Song.
