Eluvium will release the long-awaited new double-album, Nightmare Ending, on May 14 via
Temporary Residence Ltd. This morning Drowned In Sound premiered the lead track “Don’t Get Any Closer” and said, “Over the past decade he’s mastered something truly special…there’s something welcoming about the cinematic melancholy of Matthew Cooper aka Eluvium.” Cooper himself described the track by saying, “I would probably theorize this piece to be the calm before the storm. The comfort of being alone, internalizing at the risk of overflowing and finding subtle ways to let go.”
